Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all sports massage and soft tissue therapy services provided by Revive Clinical and Sports Massage Therapy. By booking or attending an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

1. Scope of Practice

We provide sports massage and soft tissue therapy within our professional training, qualifications, and insurance cover.

Treatments are intended to support physical function, recovery, and wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.

2. Informed Consent

By attending a session, you confirm that:

• You understand the nature and purpose of sports massage

• You consent to treatment being provided

• You understand that results cannot be guaranteed

Consent may be withdrawn at any time during the session.

3. Health Disclosure & Client Responsibility

For your safety and to comply with our insurance requirements, you must:

• Complete a health questionnaire honestly and accurately

• Inform us of all medical conditions, injuries, medications, recent surgeries, or changes in health

• Update us before each session if anything has changed

Failure to disclose relevant information may affect treatment safety and insurance validity.

We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or stop treatment if it is deemed unsafe or outside our scope of practice.

4. Bookings & Payments

• Appointments must be booked in advance via phone / email.

• Prices are listed in GBP (£)

• Payment is required on the day unless agreed otherwise

• Missed or late-cancelled appointments may be charged in line with our cancellation policy

 

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We ask for reasonable notice to allow us to offer appointments to other clients.

 

Client Cancellations

• More than 24 hours’ notice: No charge

• Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the treatment fee

• Less than 12 hours’ notice or no-show: 100% of the treatment fee

These fees reflect time reserved and loss of income and are permitted under UK consumer law.

Rescheduling

• Appointments may be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice

• Changes within 24 hours may be charged as a late cancellation

Therapist Cancellations

If we need to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered:

• A full refund, or

• The option to reschedule

 

6. Late Arrivals

• Late arrival may result in a shortened session

• The full treatment fee will still apply

• Arrivals more than [10–15] minutes late may be treated as a no-show

 

7. Professional Conduct

All treatments are provided in a professional, safe, and respectful manner.

Any inappropriate behaviour, language, or conduct will result in immediate termination of the session. The full fee will remain payable, and future bookings may be refused.

 

8. Aftercare & Client Responsibility

Aftercare advice may be provided to support recovery. It is your responsibility to follow this advice and to seek medical guidance if symptoms persist or worsen.

 

9. Insurance & Liability

Revive Clinical and Sports Massage Therapy is fully insured for sports massage therapy through Balens Specialist Insurance Brokers, in line with our qualifications and scope of practice.

We are not liable for:

• Issues arising from undisclosed or inaccurate health information

• Contraindications not disclosed by the client

• Failure to follow aftercare advice

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so under UK law.

 

10. Refunds

• No refunds are offered for completed treatments

• Prepaid sessions are refundable only in accordance with our cancellation policy

This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

11. Privacy & Data Protection

Client information is stored securely and handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Information is used only for treatment, administration, and legal requirements.

 

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
